Prior to becoming an attorney, Brett Caballero honorably served on active duty in the U.S. Coast Guard for nearly eight years, during which he completed his undergraduate studies in political science and was the recipient of numerous awards and accolades. His devotion to duty contributed to over 1,000 lives, and $30 million in property, being saved and/or assisted.
Prior to obtaining his J.D. in 2017 from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts, he interned as a law student with the First Coast Guard District’s Judge Advocate General’s Office, and Nuñez, Muñoz y Compañía—a private law firm in Santiago, Chile that specialized in international mergers and acquisitions.
Since becoming a member of the Florida Bar in 2017, Brett has primarily focused his legal career on representing plaintiffs in civil matters, including those arising from insurance and other contractual disputes, along with claims related to personal injury, negligence, auto accidents, and wrongful death. Brett has developed extensive experience in all stages of civil litigation and jury trials, and always strives to achieve the best possible results for his clients. He stands ready to do what is necessary to obtain a verdict at trial for his clients in the event a favorable resolution cannot be obtained through negotiations.
